I hope you all had a fantastic Memorial Day week end !
I have hundreds of pictures to sort from the Under the Sea party, so it's going to be a few days before I can actually share these with you !!! But for now, I wanted to show you what I did for our Under the sea Photo Booth :)
These picture are such a good memento from the party, I love them !!!
I have to admit it's not always easy to get young children to have their pictures taken, especially during the party... So we do what we can on the day and I usually take more pictures of my children the following day. Without the friends and the excitement of the party, it's easier for them and I usually get good shots then.
For this Under The Sea photo booth, I created the wavy background using crepe paper streamers from Party City (in Royal blue, Ice blue and white).
The ruffled effect is super easy to do. All you need is a sewing machine. Simply feed the paper in, ruffling as you go:
So I have to share my new secret. I am not paid to talk about this product, I was just really pleased with it and though I would share.
For this party, Party City sent me a box of Scotch Restickable Mini Tabs and they are fabulous. They would not hold anything heavy but they are fantastic for streamers and small items. And absolutely no damage to my walls !
Best thing is they are re-usable, so I can keep on using them…
Now for the props, I found all the cutouts in the silhouette store. And I used coffee stirrers as holders.
We had a choice of scuba equipment (!), bubbles, and some special birthday boy signs :)
Disclosure: All words and opinions are my completely my own. The streamers were provided by Party City at no cost. No other type of compensation was received for this review.
