I really enjoy working with felt.
As a sewing material, I find it perfect: it's inexpensive, comes in many colours (and a few designs too) and it doesn't fray! So you can cut it and use it straight away.
I have been making these felt flowers to embellish a Ballerina yarn wreath (...pictures really soon! If you follow me on Facebook, you already got a little peek).
I think they turned up pretty well !
For the flowers' centers I found small pearl buttons in a haberdashery shop (similar to these). The smallest center (pearlescent pink) on the white flower is actually a pin (purchased here) so it is perfect to attach the flower to the wreath.
